We are the team of students that made this website. We created and presented a slideshow called Stop Bullying. This slideshow was presented in some of the classrooms in our school.
We hope that after seeing our slideshow, you'll learn more about how to stop bullying, and we hope that you will use our slideshow to make presentations in your own school! That way you can make a difference and promote tolerance.
The reason we created this presentation (and the Stop Bullying section of our website) was to try to stop bullying in classrooms all around the world. If this goal is accomplished, it will lead to a more peaceful world and may even lead to helping to stop wars!
We sometimes see bullying around our school, and sometimes we also see people trying to help the victims get out of the situation. One of the most important parts of our presentation are the strategies that will help people when they are being bullied. There is a strategy for both the victim and the witness to bullying. One is the HA HA SO strategy and the other one is the S.A.V.E. strategy. The presentation will explain both to you. There is also information that reminds you not to be a bully!
When we made our presentations, we also performed a short skit after the third page. Here is the script that we used. You will need three people to perform the skit. The skit shows the S.A.V.E. strategy in action. If you include this skit, it will help to make your presentation more interesting and fun.
These are some tips on how to present the slideshow. While doing the presentation you should:
- make eye contact with the audience
- speak loudly and clearly
- stand still and do not rock back and forth on your feet
- ask your audience if they have any questions
