About Us
We are the 2008 Kindness Kids ThinkQuest Team. We do not speak the same language, but we found we have much in common. We all have a passion for learning and a desire to be successful. We have worked hard on this project and through this competition, we have become friends. We have learned a few words in both languages, many new technology skills, and most of all we have learned about friendship. Each of us have matching necklaces that say, "Friends Forever" and we hope we will always be

♥All About Me♥
My name is Danielle, I am 12 years old. I live in Brazil with my family and I love them. My mother is teacher and my father is policeman.
I study in a very good public school, where I have several friends and loved teachers. I like a lot to walk, to go to the swimming pool, to go to the beach, to swim, to see films and in the vacations to travel to São Paulo to my aunt's house. This project was an unforgettable experience for my life. Applied knowledge of the English language as well as on various aasuntos related to the theme of our project, the kindness. I learned to live in groups and distribute experiments. I was a designer, reporter, researcher, writer, translator, and above all learn to create. I think I became a person more complete, because our project spoke on issues related to improvement of human dignity, which are the kindness, friendship, solidarity, honesty, affection and love which is the principal to the next. This project is also important for the "family" because there is the commitment of my parents, family and friends to the development of our work. Thank you for this [necklace] I received, loved it so much that it leaves no more of my neck.
I am affectionate and I like to do new friendships and I am thankful that you, Americans, are my new friends.
Kisses,
Danielle

~†~All About Amy L~†~
My name is Amy. I am 10 years old, I love where I live because it is right in front of the woods and it is just a very pretty habitat to live in. I love to dance, sing, and spend time with my family and friends. Throughout this project I have been in charge of making the pages about kindness in the school, bullying pages, and sportsmanship. I directed the video about bullies, made games, typed content into our website, and made most of the surveys. We learned to talk to someone in another language by using the Internet. ThinkQuest has been a long journey, but it has been very fun to experience! I hope the "Kindness Kids" get more of a chance for new experiences by getting to travel so we can talk about our kindness project that we put plenty of hours into!
Love and care to all,
Amy Kindness Kid 08

~* All About Me, Bekah*~
My name is Bekah, I am 10 years old. Amy and I are twins, but we do not look alike. I like to play the piano, play with my pets, family, and friends, and go to church. My mom is a teacher and my dad is a band director. I love going to school and doing work. In the project, my job was the "Kindness in the Community" pages. I had to do writing about community workers, community helpers, and other people in the community. Dani also worked on the pages with me. It was fun working with my teammates because we all seemed to get along really well. Working with our Brazilian teammates was also fun. We got to talk to them through Think.com, and see pictures of them on their sites. They work really hard and I am glad that we're a team. I love working with all of my teammates. Everybody is very nice. It is an honor to be on this team. It has been a very nice experience.

Jesslyn's All About Me
My name is Jesslyn. I am nine years old. I am in third grade. I live in Alabama. My favorite subject is Science. I like to go shopping, hangout with friends, visit my family, play softball, cheerlead, play the piano, go outside and go on the computer . I have one brother and I play with my brother a lot.
On the project one of the things I did was write about kindness in the home . I drew and wrote about kindness in the home. In my writing I
wrote about how kindness starts in the home and how we cannot be kind if we are not kind to ourselves first. In our Kindness Kids' Kick-Off Day and our Celebrate Kindness Day, we did a rap. I helped make up the cheer and motions to go with it. In the rap I said," Kindness is contagious and you can catch it." It took a few tries to get the rap right when we recorded it, but it was fun. My favorite part of this project was the drawing. We also did a lot of projects with our school. My teammates from Brazil and my school were a lot of help. My team collaborated by going on the Internet to translate. We sent out messages to people on Think.com and asked them questions about kindness, too. We used email to send links to our surveys to people.

♥ All About Me♥
My name is Tia and I'm 10 years old. I like sports. My favorite sports are softball, soccer, volleyball. That's why I wrote the section on good sportsmandship. My favorite things to do are ride my bike, read scary books, play the PlayStation2, and play with my friends and relatives. I like ThinkQuest a lot. It's fun, I like to learn more about kindness and how it affects people's feelings. I really like talking and working with Amy, Bekah, Jesslyn, Viviane, and Danielle. It's really fun working in school and out of school. I check people's writing, write about friendship, and make games for the pages. My teammates from Brazil are a lot of help. When we work together the stuff we're working gets done faster. We collaborate by going on Google Translator and typing in what we want to say and then we press translate. It's fun!
