LINKS: TEAM MEMBERS DIVERSITY

Our team was very diverse. We represent several different countries and locations. Ana lives in Croatia. Health system there is different than in the USA. For example, while we created our site Ana's little brother got sick with chicken pox.For us in the USA that was surprising because we are all required to get chicken pox vaccination before Kindergarten! Ana was able to help us understand how health system in different country works.In addition to coming from a different countries, we also come from different cultures. Tirthan and Annika are of Indian heritage and Annie's parents are from China. We were able to learn a lot about how people deal with infectious diseases in those places, especially when it comes to availability of medicines and vaccines. Diversity played a huge role in making our site about diseases around the world.
