Poverty is a major cause for deaths, and what's worst is that the Earth supplies enough food for everyone, but not everyone has the money. When people are hungry, they get sicker and weaker. This causes them to work even less, causing them to be even poorer.
Many people all over the world are in poverty. They can not get the proper vaccination that they need. People in poverty get the diseases, and the diseases spread to other people. There are several ways that poverty affects spread of diseases. To begin with, people living in poverty often live in homes that can make them sick. This is because there may be no electricity, clean water and good sanitation. Many diseases spread because of poor sanitation and bacteria in unclean water. Often, people in poverty have to live very close to each other. For example there may be too many people in a house. Because they are close to each other, diseases can spread quicker.
Another way poverty affect spread of diseases is poor nutrition. People who do not get good nutrition sometimes do not have a good immune system. This means that their body does not fight diseases as much as it should. In addition, a person may not get enough nutrients such as vitamins and minerals and is more likely to get sick. Also, people in poverty may not visit a doctor as often because that costs money or they have to travel a long way. they also often cannot afford medicine or vaccine or do not even know that those are available and can save their life,
