CAUSES

Signs of polio are fatigues, fever, headache, vomiting, stiffness in the neck, and pain in your limbs. In 200 infections, there is one that leads to irreversible paralysis(most times in the  legs). Most of the cases in polio it spreads from person to person.

SPREAD

Polio is usually spread by person-to-person. But you can not really tell if a person has polio, because a lot of people that carry the virus don't show symptoms or develop polio paralysis. But out of 200 people, 1 person will have symptoms and be paralyzed. The virus enters the environment through feces of people infected then is passed to others especially in situations of poor hygiene.

PREVENTION

Polio has no cure, its only option for prevention is through immunization. If given multiple times, polio vaccine almost always protects a child for life. Being immunized will protect most people.

TREATMENT

Because there is no real care for polio, the most help to supply for the person is comfort. Some other things a doctor can do to help with the pain and relive the disease is antibiotics, portable ventilators to relive breathing, moderate exercise, and a nutritious diet.
