This site is important to not only kids our age, but the whole world because it educates people about what is happening to our environment and what we need to change to make a difference. We hear about this issue on the TV and in school, but often we do not really think about it. However, changes in climate will affect us or our children. Therefore, students all over the world should learn as much as possible so that we can begin finding solutions for the future.
This site tells that it does not matter if global warming is man-made or nature-made, because if we don't try to stop global climate change now then there will be ice ages and floods that will destroy or towns, our cities, and our lives. It does not matter what or who caused global climate change, we know it is going to happen. Countries, governments and industry around the world need to spend money on trying to stop global warming, not trying to prove the other side wrong!
Industry and governments in developed countries need to think about how they affect the entire Earth. This is not just one country's issue. The pollution we cause does not just affect us. It affects the entire world. Even those who have nothing to do with the pollution! By not treating our environment right for a long time, we have created a problem. Forests and lands are cleared for houses, there is no more space to throw garbage, cities are covered in smog causing diseases. Therefore, to solve the problem the entire world will have to act together.
Action can start with each one of us. This site it mainly targeting kids because they are the future. Every little thing helps - turn of the light, recycle, ride to school in a carpool! We need everyone one to help out because if we all did everything we could to stop global climate change and act responsibly toward our environments, Earth would be a better and safer place to spend future.
