Dead or Alive Xtreme 2

The Dead or Alive series has always had realistic combat sequences with convincing player models; however, the "Xtreme" edition of the games simply showcases the game's graphical ability to portray the almost-nude female characters of the series in a provocative beach setting. While the original Dead or

Alive Xtreme featured girls running around in bikinis on a beach (right), the sequel offers much more for lawmakers to complain about. It utilizes the next-gen power of consoles like the Xbox 360 to create physics engines for individual breasts, as well as an unlockable pole-dancing cutscene. Such sexually provocative content raises concern among parents about what content their children interact with.

Such concerns are the reason for the ESRB, the voluntary rating system which gives video games an appropriate age grouping based on their content.
