	KOEBERG NUCLEAR POWER STATION Koeberg Nuclear Power Station is the only Nuclear Power Station on the African Continent. It has 2 reactors, producing a total of 900MW. It currently provides power for the Western Cape and supplementary power for the National Grid. The power station itself, is surrounded by a large nature reserve. Owing to the fact that the power station itself does not give off any emissions, the Nature reserve is open to the public. The station is equipped with a visitors centre.
