Second Coach - Rose Anami

My name is Rose Anami. I am single and live in Ukunda. I am the Field Manager of this Foundation. I met Rene de Vries during summer of 2003. He wanted to visit some primary schools and I was glad that I could organize some visits for him. During that time I was a desk officer of a water recreation company. 

Right from the start Rene and I had a good contact and we became very good friends. 
I hope to stay a volunteer for the Ukunda Schools Project for many more years to come. I think it is very important to improve the educational system here in Kenya. 
In particular I want to help the orphan girls: they too deserve a chance for a better future and good education will help them to reach that better future.  

As Field Manager I am responsible for the contact between the schools and the board members. When they come to Kenya, I will guide them and translate if necessary. I also write articles about daily life in Ukunda - Kenya.

I liked it very much to do something for the students of Rene de Vries. I hope we will be able to chat several times. I will do my best to assist the students of the Magutu primary school during those chats with the students of primary school De Wadden.
