Bathroom

"I'll go wherever you will go!" what a nice song. Yes nanotechnology also goes wherever you go, even into your bathroom. German and Japanese manufacturers such as Nanogate Technologies have started selling bathroom and kitchen tile that cannot get dirty since it is impossible for dirt and grit particles to cling to the coating in much the same way that food cannot stick to Teflon pans.

These self-cleaning tiles can also be impregnated with biocidal nanoparticles. This prevents growth of rots and fungi that infest bathrooms and enhances overall sanitation.

These tiles may put an end to the over-unpleasant task of bathroom cleaning, a prospect many might consider sufficient cause to support all of nanotechnology.

Ahh.. no more bathes for me. No more toilet chores anymore!
