A brief Overview of Nanotechnology

I have seen scientists working very hard and I know that they are very precise in their measurements. Before we touch on the domestic areas, it would be good to know the basics of nanotechnology before we move on to the extremities. Let us examine the word "nanotechnology". The definition of the word nano, which is Greek for "dwarf", means one billionth. (Richard Booker & Earl Boysen: 10). In adding the prefix nano in measurements, resulting in nanometres (abbreviated "nm"); it is observed that a nanometre is a billionth of a metre.

I feel that nanotechnology is not just an obscure branch of science that no one will understand, but it will actually play a great part in our lives. With nanotechnology, we can virtually create anything using atoms.
