| Ms. Benedict, our sponsor, is a computer teacher at Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado and has a keen eye for bugs(the coded variety, that is). Currently she teaches several courses in Java and Advanced Placement programming. A former IBM employee, her duties currently include more than just Fairview, though, as she runs around to teach at other places. |

I am a Vietnamese foreign exchange student studying in the United States. This year I am a junior at Fairview High School, and I would also like to attend University in the US. Like many of my background, I believe in hard work and initiative. I enjoy soccer and have a deep interest in computers. I am especially excited about the new opportunities, such as this competition, provided me by the internet and innovative technology, and I look forward to exciting opportunities that await. |

I am a first generation Chinese immigrant, and I grew up in Idaho. I am very political. Outside of school I enjoy football (both the western and eastern varieties), playing the violin, and I'll take up a jovial spar with friends any day. Keeping informed about the happenings of China, I am simultaneously appalled and amused at the ridiculous realities that surround it, particularly that the Communist leadership tries to focus world attention on what happened at Nanking while completely ignoring Tiananmen Square. Instead, they must censor it to the point where it becomes blatantly obvious that the government of the People's Republic of China (or lack thereof) is more interested in Marxist indoctrination than historical accuracy. Absurd.

I am a senior at Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado. I swim year round, and am the captain of the Fairview Swim team. I spend a lot of my time on the computer, messing around with ASP.NET and other web development tools. I am also very interested in Formula 1 and just cars in general. I am attending Northwestern University’s Engineering school next year, and hope to major in either mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering. |

I am a junior at Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado. In my spare time I like to play volleyball, sing, and write. I like to follow the political scene, and so far I betting on Obama in ’08. Don’t quote me on that. As for major life goals, I really don’t know other than I would like to see the world and maybe help to fix a part of it. This website project has definitely been a unique experience, and my team members have been awesome in putting it together. |
