Wind power is the conversion of energy from wind by using wind turbines. These turbines are standing straight up with a wheel type device that spins when wind hits it. The turbine than turns a generator that produces electricity. This device is effective in windy places and also you don’t use up any fossil fuels or give off bad emissions such as carbon dioxide. Some problems are that they only really work in windy places like near the beach and they take up a big are of space. The turbines are also very noisy so they annoy people living in that area. If these problems can be surpassed then they will be a successful way to generate electricity for our use.
