Our group consists of four members, Ming Foong, Matthew, Wilson and Ernest. Ming Foong, Wilson and Matthew are based in Singapore whereas Ernest lives in China.
We decided to form a group as all of us were eager to take part in the Thinkquest competition and we all felt that we could each contribute to the development of a good site. Each of us has our area of speciality, and we allocated ourselves work according to what we did best.
When we first started on our project, we planned out who would do what. Ernest was contacted to do some research in China. Ming Foong is best at flash and was assigned the role of designing appropriate animations. Matthew and Wilson were assigned the job of doing research. Matthew was originally in charge of doing the survey and the website.
As the weeks went by, we were all able to finish most of our research. However, it became clear that Matthew was not doing a good job of making the site. This caused a large disruption in our work schedule.
As Wilson is good at creating webpages with Photoshop, he helped Matthew created the site layout. In doing so, our problem was solved.
Ming Foong, aka Mok, is our Flash expert. Mok has considerable background in Flash, which he has used to great effect in creating animations for various of our projects. He has used his expertise to create various Flash animations and games for our website.
Matthew, aka Matty, is in charge of doing research and data organising, and other miscellaneous stuff that Mok asks him to do. Matty and Pek are the main contributors to the section on "Energy Sources". However, Matty is not an expert in Flash or Photoshop, and regularly messes webpages up.
Wilson, aka Pek, is good at using Photoshop. Pek designed our website layout and also did much research on the different energy sources. Pek was a good sounding board for ideas and suggested ways to improve on our work.
Ernest lives in China, and is competent at the use of Flash. He has helped to provide a look at our topic from another perspective.
