Aim of the Site
Our site aims at providing a platform to explore and exploit the use and implementation of Open Source Technologies. Our team sincerely believes that Open Source is the ‘next big thing’. The general perception among people about Open Source is that it is just a concept, a concept which cannot be implemented outside of the programming world. Some associate the whole revolution to the Linux OS. In our site, we have shown the tremendous potential this concept has to change, period.
The main aim of the open source movement is to create an environment where open exchange of ideas, free flow of information and the integration of the global community faces no barriers.
On one hand, this site explores the very roots of Open Source and on the other, it dares to soar, soar in the endless possibilities presented by Open Source.
With sources handpicked from leading Open Source references, news articles and by intensively tracking some big developments, we compiled reviews, opinions, and comprehensive information that might as well provide a high-value database or a foundation to a large scale Open Source website. We hope that our efforts manage to reach everyone. We want the world to know its options well, we want the citizens to be aware, we want to generate a temper towards software development in this completely new offshoot. This is what our site sees as its objective.
We hope that by playing our part in promoting something we admire, we do justice to this relatively less popular (yet very powerful) field of open software development and play a small part in bringing it into mainstream. Our objective is to reach out to everyone with this message. We hope that our style of writing will appeal to all our peers and readers. It will be our sincere wish to see them inspired by this website and to go ahead and scale even greater heights, spreading the word and making everyone see for themselves how open source is here to stay, and how it's already changing things. We want them to feel the difference. That's the only way we'll be able to see our efforts pay off. We're creating history here. Be a part of the revolution.
We have the vision. We have the tools. We care to dream. For us, it's all that matters.
We just don't believe open source is the way of the future. We know it.

We have tried to create a very ergonomic design, with soft colors, smooth edges and a striking layout which is very easy on the eyes. The entire site was created using standard CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) which ensures compatibility with all platforms.
