Where did the Booth family settle?
The Booth family settled in Green Springs, Florida. Green Springs is now called Safety Harbor. Safety Harbor is located on the West coast of Florida, just across the bay from Tampa, Florida, U.S.A.
Where was the Booth family's house?
The Booth family lived on the same land as their Citrus Groves for a while, where Harbor Woods is today. Then the family moved and lived off of Bayshore Boulevard.
Where did the Booth family go to have fun?
The Booth family usually went to the place which is now called Clearwater Beach to play in the water and on the sand. They also went to a place that today is called the Courtney Campbell Causeway to cook on the grill and sing and dance. The children also were allowed back in the kitchen at home to help bake homemade fudge and cakes. The Booth's neighbor would make saltwater taffy and let them eat some of it. Sometimes they would even go to the movie theater.
Where did the kids go when they were out of school?
There was family in both Virginia and Mississippi so the children would go with their Grandmother's house by train or bus to visit family and have loads of fun.
