What did the Booth family do for fun?
The Booth family went to the beach almost everyday to play on the pier. The pier is in the current town of Safety Harbor. They would fish from the pier, crab from the pier, roller skate on the pier and swim in the water. Another name for the pier is the "Glory Hole."
After the beach they would go Granny Pedigo 's house to play cards and to make puzzles.The card games they played were Gin Rummy and Spite.
What did the Booth family eat?
The family ate a wide variety of foods because they had so many different kinds of chefs from all over the states. Grandma Teama was also a dietition at the Safety Harbor Spa - the family always tried new foods.
