Welcome to Sustainable Development: Growth and Continuity in the 21st Century.

This site is designed to serve as a one-stop location for different approaches on the controversial topic, sustainable development, as we embark on a race against time, seeking for solutions to problems that threaten continuity of the environment as a whole.

In-depth research has been done as our team of five analysed global issues and compiled relevant information from both the Internet and literature references, so as to raise awareness on the topic. We hope that this site would be beneficial in creating new perspectives to learning and spark off interest along with consideration about sustainable development.

In short Sustainable Development is about balancing the need of humans for economic and social development with the need to protect the natural and built environment so that these needs can be met not only in the present, but in the future. In this project, we aim to give a conceptual view of sustainable development, divided into the following sections: economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
