P.T. Barnum

P.T. Barnum created the "Greatest Show On Earth," which was later purchased by the Ringling brothers. P.T. Barnum become famous after hiring a woman who claimed to be 161 years old. He set up shows for people to see her, and later built a museum where he tricked people into leaving and then charged them a quarter to get back in.

P.T. Barnum partnered with James Bailey and James Hutcinson and created the "Barnum and London Circus" in 1881.

Before P.T. Barnum died he and Bailey started "Barnum & Bailey Greatest Show On Earth."
