A pronoun is a word that takes a place of a noun. Some examples of pronouns are I, he, she, we, it, you, they.

Example: She will ask them to join her.

Example:  Did you see it?

There are different kinds of pronouns such as subject pronouns. Subject pronouns takes the place of a noun or nouns in the subject of a sentence. Subject pronouns have singular words and plural words.
