In music, a soprano is the highest female singing voice. Some sopranos have a range approximately A below middle C to “high C”, two octaves above middle C. There are two types of soprano: soprano one and soprano two. Soprano two can go down into the alto range and up to the soprano one singing ranges; soprano one can go into the soprano two range, but what voice part you are all depends on what range your director thinks is best for you.
