Joking relationships represent an aspect of the cultural heritage of the ethnic groups in which they are practised.  The transmission of values through generations has ensured the continuity of this practice. Unfortunately, this transmission of traditional values seems to be disappearing, due to the urbanisation and modernisation of our society. Very few young boys and girls know what is joking relationships, or their joking ethnic partners!

In this context, we think that efforts must be undertaken to ensure the survival of this tradition, the importance of which is not to be demonstrated. That's why we think that actions like those of the Association for the Promotion of Joking relationships in Burkina Faso ( AB3P) of Prof. Boniface BATIANA must be encouraged and popularized!
