King Tutankhamen

Before the discovery of King Tut’s tomb, King Tut was one of the least known pharaohs in Egypt. In 1922, King Tut’s tomb was discovered and he became one of the most known male rulers of Ancient Egypt. The person who discovered King Tut’s tomb was Howard Carter, an archaeologist. King Tut’s tomb was full of jewels such as gold items and the golden death mask which was on him when the found him in his tomb.

Before the discovered King Tut’s tomb, King Tut was not famous and his life was a mystery. King Tut became a Pharaoh at the age of 9. King Tut had a short amount of years ruling Egypt, about 9 years. Some scientist thinks that King Tut died of a broken leg because of an infection from the wound.

King Tut was the youngest ancient Egyptian pharaoh to rule Egypt. He was also the youngest ancient Egyptian pharaoh to die. Some scientist thinks that he was the 12th king of Egypt. He ruled in the 18th dynasty.
