$$$ Example: Hi! Here's a wonderfully easy way for you to collect money! Just put your name and contact information on the list below, and then send US$100 to the person at the top of the list. After sending the money, you can delete the person's name and forward the e-mail to everyone on your contact list, so that you will have a bigger chance of getting more than $100 back!
$$$ If you received one of these e-mails, would you believe it? 38 of our interviewees said that they would NOT believe the e-mails, and only 2 said that they would believe them. However, be careful! Many times, these e-mails are merely lies made up so to steal your information or money. Senders have no intention to help you earn more money! These e-mails annoy 64% of our interviewees, and disgust or anger 22%. No one is happy to receive these! 66% say that they will delete these e-mails, as they are not worth the space in their mail-boxes! |
