Storks and golf balls

Who would have ever thought of making a bed for their baby filled with golf balls? Well, in Germany, a pair of storks decided that this would be the best designer nest for their little one! Apparently a conservation group placed a real egg in the storks' nest. The baby hatched and the proud parents are simply thrilled to raise their little one in this one of a kind nest. The golfers are hoping to get the golf balls back once the storks leave their nest.

My name is Dolfie the dolphin

Did you know that dolphins have their own names? Yes, their whistle! Every dolphin has a unique whistle. Scientists have confirmed this by recording whistles from different dolphins and playing them back for them. The results showed beyond a shadow of doubt that they recognize the different whistles. In fact, mother dolphins whistle a lot when her calf is born. They do this so the calf can recognize her whistle even in a large group of whistling dolphins. Isn't it cool? Dolphins have their own names just like humans!

Roo Poo

If you are like one of our team members you probably spend a great deal of time buying souvenirs after overseas travel. If Australia happens to be your destination, consider this new and amazing souvenir -- paper made from kangaroo manure. That's right; tourists love this product and keep buying them in plenty for souvenirs. It is so popular that the stores are unable to find enough roo poo to keep these papers in constant supply. It is said that they can make only about 400 A4 size paper with about 55 pounds of poo. These papers will be specially marked to make sure imitations don't flood the market. What a keep sake!

A pet carp in the town of Pingsai, Ghuizhou Province, China, Submarine, is trained to respond to his name. Fang runs a fishing pond and they have trained this fish for over six years. Their family used to tie a piece of cake or bread to a fishing pole and call out to "Submarine." Submarine promptly popped out of the water for this special treat. Shark-shaped submarine

World famous ocean explorer Jacques Costeau's grandson, Fabien Cousteau, has discovered an innovative way to observe sharks. The submarine itself is shark-shaped and this makes it easier to get near the shark.

Bird Burglars?

Security officers, at the castle of Queen Elizabeth, in Scotland were surprised to find bird burglars in the castle lawn. The alarm system was activated and the security officers responded thinking they were going to face burglars. They were surprised to find that ducks, accidentally, activated these security sensors with their feet!
