Despite the multitude of problems that exist between different countries and cultures of the world, we found, through the overwhelming opinions we got from nearly 831 children in 31 countries, that the very present and urgent issue of endangered animals is something that unites people around the world in a real way. We would like to hope that our website has made the globe a smaller place by creating the awareness that endangered animals is not just my problem or yours, but one that spans cultural divides and ethnic barriers and is OUR problem to solve together.
We have also reached out to the global community at large in a real and humane way by providing the underprivileged children in India a chance to contribute to our site. Two of our team members, Dylan and Courtney, sent backpacks filled with stationary for the children in India so that they would have the physical tools to use to give us their opinions on endangered animals. This was an effort that went above and beyond the ordinary and touched needy persons in a very positive way. The topic on endangered animals has given birth to solidarity between people from different countries. For more details on this effort please read our global perspectives.
Through our website we have educated the community on how they can be a part of the solution rather than the problem. |
