•  Gathering information about recycling: We were using Internet to find information on recycling. We were interested in recycling in general and also what happens to computers which are no longer in use. We found out that there is a computer museum in Slovenia ( http://muzej.kiberpipa.org/en/ ).

•  4th grade students were learning about recycling at their classes. After that we organized an activity in the computer room. They were searching for information on the internet and they came across an interesting web page ( http://ec.europa.eu/environment/youth/waste/waste_recycling_en.html ).

• After reading about recycling they tried to use their knowledge in the quiz on the page. The english version of the page is http://ec.europa.eu/environment/toolkits/jiffy_quiz/jiffy_quiz_en.htm .

•  Collecting waste material. We created a poster, which we put on the board outside the library. On the poster we announced that we collect used materials such as computer keyboards, mouses ... The students also collected old computer and other technology waste from the classrooms. We gathered it all in computer room.

•  Preparing materials for reusing. With some the help of computer group students were organizing collected materials, putting appart the keybord and mouses ...

•  Reusing. We were making new objects from the waste materials.
