Statistics-Researchers have asked teens in the grades from 8th to 12thif they have used marijuana
8th = 8.3% said yes
10th =17.8%
12th =21.5%
Why take the drug-“
“If are not down with it they look at you funny “said a teen. Many take the drug because they want to be popular or they either say “Everybody is doing it” as reason to take it. Some teens are more vulnerable then others and take the bad influence. Some or those influences are friends and or social contacts
Common side effects
- Many of the common effects of marijuana are loss of coordination, forget your friend’s phone number, your grade point average drops, it’s possible that you get in a car accident, you can get anxiety, panic attack and lung cancer
