Users experience feelings of peacefulness, acceptance empathy, enhance of self-confidence and energy. They also have desires to touch others and have feelings of closeness. People who use the drug can also suffer from involuntary teeth clenching, nausea, blurred vision, loss of inhibitions, chills and or sweating, and faintness. Increases in heart rate and blood pressure, seizures are also a possibility. Users can also suffer from hyperthermia (dramatic increase in body temperature) if they dance for a long period in hot crowded conditions. This can lead to muscle breakdowns, kidney, liver or cardiovascular failure. After the use of the drug users suffer from sleep problems, anxiety and or depression. Users can also suffer from confusion and or paranoid during or after using MDMA. If used repeatedly the drugs can damage cells that produce serotonin. These calls have an important role in the regulation of the mood, appetite, pain, learning and the memory.

Why do People Use Them?
Ecstasy is used in “raves, trances,” dance clubs and bars that’s why it’s also known as a club drug. People use them to get energy to keep on dancing. It also makes it easier to interact with other people and it makes the user feel good. MDMA has also been associated with sexual assaults. The drug can be colorless, tasteless and odorless which makes it easy for people to slip them in another persons drink.
