While shooting through the air, taking sudden turns, and screaming at the top of your lungs, the last thing on your mind is physics, but in fact you are experiencing physics in action. Everything about amusement park rides revolve around the concepts of physics, it is what keeps you thrilled and at the same time safe. 

Two particular rides which clearly demonstrate physical properties at play are the most popular, the roller coaster, and an original, the pendulum ride.

An Amusement Park is a collection of rides and other entertainment attractions brought together for the purpose of entertaining a large group of people. The parks started in Europe, in a place called Pleasure Gardens which was meant for the entertainment of the people while charging a fee. Amusement parks are actually the older version of today's theme parks, but now days the two words have the same meaning.

    The dynamics of today's rides call for the extensive use of physics laws and principles, they are what makes the rides possible. At a first look, one might not see physics present at an amusement park, but everything from nuts and bolts, to the high speed looping maneuvers have some physics involved.
