Communism Communism is a form of government where the people are treated equally by making all industry the sole property of the government. All prices are fixed, and payment is based upon needs rather than ability. Communism makes the government very powerful militarily, because it allows them to spend all of their resources the way they want them to be spent. The weakness of communism is, although on paper everyone is equal, governments become corrupt with the amount of power that they possess, which results in the ordinary people suffering while the government spend the countries income on themselves. Communism did not fall with the end of Cold War; some countries such as China are still communist. |
