Limbic System
The limbic system a circle of structures around the corpus callosum and the brain stem. The limbic system contains the following structures:
- The parahippocampal gyrus, cingulate gyrus, dentate gyrus, amygdala, septal nuclei, mammillary bodies of the hypothalamus, anterior nucleus of the thalamus, the olfactory bulbs, fornix, stria terminalis, stria medullaris, medial forebrain bundle, and the mammillothalamic tract.

These are the bunch of structures found with the limbic system.
Furthermore, the limbic system is sometimes called the emotional brain because it controls many of the emotions such as, pain, anger, pleasure, and affection.
