There are so many interesting things about Mt. St. Helens. The closest town
to mount saint Helens is cougar. The elevation before the 1980 eruption was
9,760 ft.
(2975 m) tall and after the eruption it was 8,525 ft (2,600 m) tall. 57
people died by the eruption. Mount Saint Helens has erupted 38 times not counting
the other minor
eruptions. Mount Saint Helens’ crater is 1k wide.
