The most recent story about harmful cosmetics is one relating to the famous brand SK-II. Several of their skin care products are found to contain traces of *chromium and **neodymium which can cause skin allergies and other health problems .

 

The product makersdeclared that buyers of SK-II cosmetics in which harmful chemicals were found will be able to get a refund. Wang Jun, the SK-II public relations manager insisted SK-II on sale was safe and products in which harmful materials were discovered had not reached China.

The requirements for people that wanted to seek a refund could just take the receipt and the product to any SK-II shop.

 

 

*Chromium is a steel-gray, lustrous, hard metal that takes a high polish and has a high melting point. It is also odourless, tasteless, and is malleable.

**Neodymium has a bright, silvery metallic luster.
