                   Overview of Cancer

The first owner of Malboro Company died of lung cancer

Cancer is quickly rising to become one of the world's most deadliest killers. Apart from Acquired Immunodefiency Syndrome (AIDS), Cancer has beaten heart disease by an overwhelming majority. Cancer is closely linked to genetics and the proteins that cause our organs and cells to function properly. Therefore it is essential to know that cancer is not a communicable disease like AIDS or is it a individualistic problem, like heart disease. It affects the environment, the society and the country.

Cancer has been around as long as mankind, but only in the second half of the 20th century did the number of cancer cases explode. Contributing to this explosion are the excessive amounts of toxins and pollutants we are exposed to, high stress lifestyles that zap the immune system, poor quality junk food that's full of pesticides, irradiated and now genetically modified, pathogens, electromagnetic stress, lights, and just about everything that wasn't here 200 years ago.
