The Origins of the Etruscans:

Even the ancient historians cannot agree on the origin of the Etruscans. Most modern historians think the Etruscan civilization that began in the regions of Cerveteri, Tarquinia, Vulci and Vetulonia. Another common theory is, that Etruscans migrated form Asia Minor. The Romans believed that they came from an unnamed eastern origin. There is no confirmed origin.
