A site index provides your audience a view of what is available to them, just at a single glance. This benefits readers who tend to get down to what they want to find, instead of browsing through each and every page of your website.
Your site index should be written in the order of importance. Include what your readers should read first at the top, and those of a less importance further at the bottom.
