Organelles
An organelle is a structure in the cytoplasm in the cell. Just like
your body has organs such as the heart, brain and liver that perform
jobs for your body, the cell has oganelles. They also
have specific duties to the cell and the plant.
All organelles have a membrane surrounding it. Some
examples for organelles would be the Nucleus, Mitochondria, and Golgi
Bodies.
Some jobs that the organelles fulfil are transporting waste, breaking
down food for the cell, and just being storage containers.
