Cell membrane

 

The cell membrane is a structure that is the outer boundary of the cell and also surrounds the cytoplasm. The membrane is a protection barrier for any thing that tries to enter the cell. It will only let certain materials in to the cell so the cell stays healthy and happy. The membrane also lets in materials that are needed to make products for the cell.
The membrane is made from lipids and proteins made inside the cell.
