About Me
Hi, my name is Megan and I am a sixth
grader at Austin Tracy Elementary School in Barren County Kentucky. I
enjoy being in STLP with my friends and our STLP coordinator, Sherry Wheeler.
I also enjoy horseback riding, swimming and playing the piano. I have
a 6-year-old brother, William, and we like to play together, sometimes.
I live on a farm in Barren County so I am very exposed to the farm animals
and it just so happen that I love it. I enjoy being able to walk outside
and play with my dogs and cats, and if I want to I can go jump on a horse
and ride through forest and beautiful pasture.
Microorganisms is a subject that I think my group and I have lots of knowledge
on, because we have just finished a unit on them in our science class.
I also happen to enjoy working with this subject because you get to look
through microscopes at microorganisms. We also picked this subject because
our science teacher also happens to be our STLP coordinator and we knew
she would be a lot of help.
While working on this project, I believe our group stayed focused on our topic and worked together to fulfil this web site.
My group and I thought that my position
in this group would probably be the leader because I tried to keep everyone
focused on our topic. I was also their to help people with pages and tried
to get everyone together when we needed to make decisions. Even though,
I have the title leader, our group still made All decisions together and
presented our own idea to each other.
