Content;; Females : MusicMost females today enjoy music by female artists like Beyonce, Nelly Furtado, Rihanna and Fergie because they are all in one way or another female empowerment artists. These artists sing about living without a man and being your own woman. Females are probably drawn to these types of songs because they make them feel independent, strong and powerful. Females generally like male artists such as Usher, Justin Timberlake and Sean Paul because they are considered attractive or “hot.” Sometimes a male artist can gain a strong fan base of female artists solely because he is attractive to them. This is also true for women. In today’s society, physical appearance can sell you more records or give you more fame than talent alone. |
