Divination and Fortune Tellings


Divination in other words means fortune telling or looking into the future and sometimes the past. During the earliest years of civilization, people have used divination to talk to or to communicate to the spirits or supernatural when they wanted help in their lives.

Mostly witches, wizards, and sorcerers used divination. If you would practice divination you would probably be called a diviner. The diviners were often in special lessons of priests and nun in different civilizations. These priests and nuns learned also how to do divination. There are lots of different ways to do divination that are still in use today, some religions that perform divination are paganism, witchcraft, voodoo and Santeria.

Christians would disagree that prayer could be one way of divination. Many people who do divination believe that divination helps you choose better choices in life than if you didn’t do divination.
