Some of the powerful guns used were 8inch howitzer M1 and 155mm gun M1. This one was also named "Long Tom". There was also 57mm anti-tank gun M1, 40mm automatic gun (anti aircraft) "Bofors" M1,M3 90mm gun, and 4x.50 cal."quad gun" on M55.One other one was 106 mm rifle.
Some tanks that were used to carry soldiers through the streets were the Sherman tank M4A1E8 and HVSS with 3 inch high velocity gun.
