Jupiter is the fifth planet from the sun and is the largest in our solar system by more than twice of every planet combined. It is classified as a gas giant. Jupiter’s atmosphere is mostly made up of hydrogen with small traces of helium. The most famous thing Jupiter is known for though is its Great Red Spot. This spot is a giant cyclonic storm that roughly twice the size of the Earth. It has been in existence since around the 17th Century or that’s when it was discovered.
