Causes > [ 1 ] > [ 2 ] I Government I Poverty
After Second World War, there were positive effects for third world countries. They almost benefited from colonization, as they gained opportunities to educate their population and learned how to govern themselves independently. Within the period of forty years, life expectancy in third world countries dramatically increased and health care services significantly improved. At the same time, trade in these countries were on the top for the very first time as people started moving from subsistence farming to commercial farming. As a result many products were made and exported around the globe.
As these countries were moving towards a prosperous continent, a sudden desire for wealth developed among the people. Economics and politics collided with each other. Governments’ began demanding increased income through confiscation and killings. Along with this governments forced children to work in challenging tasks that deprived them of energy and sufficient health. Children are often recruited to fight government enemies until these kids become pitiless aggressors. However, perceiving this injustice, the citizens of third world countries turned against the government and fell into despair. Shortly, civil war had reasons to break out in every corner.
