Games-
Metroid Prime- For
the first time you can play as Samus Aran in a adventure/shooter
video game. Samus has once again experienced technical difficulties
with her suit. Losing all but a few features Samus must reclaim
them by defeating enemies and different bosses. While traveling
from planet to planet you finally gather all weapons and upgrades
and must defeat the final Boss.
Mario Kart Double Dash!!!- The
third installment of the Mario kart series, provides many features
that the past 2 did not include. One and the most recognized
feature is the 2 people on the same kart. While one would drive,
one would use the items that they gathered. Racing
through.
Super Mario Sunshine- Another and
first installment of Mario on the GC was released August 25, 2002.
While Mario and Princess Peach go to a far away island, for some
well earned relax time, Mario is accused of mucking up the island
of Isle Delfino, and is sentenced to cleaning the whole island. In
the time that he has cleanup duty, he discovers a more devious plan
by Bowser and Bowser baby.
Super Smash Bros. Melee- The sequel
to the famous Super Smash Bros, came on the Gamecube December 3,
2001. Even though it was one of the first games to come out it has
proven to be one of the more fun and more popular games. It was the
same format as the first one, but it included more then 25 playable
characters and a variety of levels.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker- In the Wind Waker, you play as Link, but not normal age
Link, but young Link. Where once again you must rescue princess
Zelda, from the evil Gandoroff. Even though the look of this game
is a charcoal art type, people tend to get used to it became
comfortable soon after.
Donkey Konga- Was another musical
game, which at the time was becoming very popular. While various
colors and different beats, you would hit the bongos or claps your
hands according to the different things scrolling by. The type of
music that was included was mostly famous Nintendo music, a lot
from the series of Super Mario Bros, and Zelda.
Luigi Mansion- Luigi mansion was a release title for the Gamecube, but
is still fun. Even though the game play was mostly for little kids,
it included fun details for the older age group.
Resident Evil 4- Resident
Evil 4 is in fact the 6 the game in the genre of Resident Evil. It
is classified as a horror 3 rd person shooter/action-adventure. You
play a United States agent by the name of Leon Scott Kennedy, where
you are sent on a high risk mission saving Ashley Graham
(presidents daughter.) What makes Resident evil 4 such a game was
the over the shoulder camera view while shooting. The various
techniques and paths you can take to win the game are countless.
Which way will you go?
Viewtiful Joe- Viewtiful is the side scroller first coming to the
gamecube. The story is of Joe and his girlfriend Silvia are
watching a movie, while Silvia is suddenly sucked into the movie,
Joe must now transform into the superhero Vietiful Joe to save her.
The fun drawing makes the visuals of the game interesting and
fulfilling.

Accessories
Controller- The
controller for the Gamecube had 8 buttons, 2 analog sticks, and 1
D-pad. Unlike the PS2 and like the xbox controller, the 2 analog
sticks were opposite on each side. What I mean is that the right
one was on bottom of the controller, while the left one was on top.

Wavebird- The Wavebird,
was another controller for the Gamecube, same design same feel as
that original, only difference was that it was wireless. The only
thing that might have been different was it was a tad bigger, and
white color. It relied on battery pack which if you left it on, it

DK Bongos- The DK bongos
first came out with the game Donkey Konga. They were bongo shaped
drums, which were used in the game for every action for that game.
Besides hitting the bongos, it also had built in microphone for
different features in the game.

Memory Card- The memory
card at this point in time was essential to any system for saving
your gaming experience. It came in 3 different versions the 59,
251, or the 1050 block, for the casual or hardcore gamer.

Game Boy Player- The Game
Boy Player, was a small cubed device that clipped to the bottom of
the Gamecube. It uses were for the user to hook his Game Boy
advanced or sp to the player, and be able to play there Game Boy
games on the big screen.
