Play Station

PS1-
The first home game console to ever break the 100 million mark, the play station sold over 100.49 million copies and started a pathway for Sony to create more consoles and handhelds. Released in the U.S. on September 9, 1985 was sold for $299.00. Previous to It’s release in the U.S., Sony used secret messages in the Play station adds. One such message was the word Enos. This word was interpreted in two ways. If said backwards it would say Sony phonetically. Also, the use of the e meant ready leading to the belief of the acronym Ready Ninth Of September. Of course we believe this was all speculation.
