Accesseries- N64 Controller- The N64 controller was a
odd shaped “M” with 10 different buttons, 1 analog
stick, and 1 D-pad. The 1 analog stick would soon change with 2
analog sticks, with the “C” buttons later changing to
the second stick. The controller came in a variety of colors,
starting with the boring grey soon going to a lime green and much
more. N64 Controller Pak- The Controller pack
was simply a memory card for the 64. It held up to 256 kb of
memory, while others held up to 4 mb. It simply plugged into the
back of the controller, and you could then save your games onto it,
and transfer information to your friend’s console. Transfer Pak- The transfer was a device
that plugged into the back of the controller, but game boy games
was what plugged into it. The idea was for you too transfer your
saved data from your gameboy to the 64 version of the game, and
play from there. Its major games that it supported was the Pokemon
Stadium franchise, and many more. Rumble Pack- Rumble packs back then were
considered a great accessory, now days its built into every
controller. What it did was give you a more real experience
rumbling while you experience a troubling moment in the
game. Expansion pack- The expansion pack came
with some certain games, for example Donkey Kong 64. It was used on
the bigger games for holding more memory like your saved games. And
knocked up the colors the 64 supported up by 4 allowing for better
visualization. |
