Malaria is a mosquito-borne disease caused by a parasite. People with malaria often experience fever, chills, and flu-like illness. Left untreated, they may develop severe complications and die. Most people think that Malaria is always associated with poverty; well in fact it is not as the disease causes a lot of economic problems for the developing countries.

Malaria can be found in warmer regions of the world. Countries with warmer temperature have the high risk of having the disease because Anopheles usually thrives in warm climates. Malaria occurs in more than 100 countries. Some government’s like those in the northern part of United States, southern Europe, Singapore, Taiwan and all of the Caribbean islands manage to eliminate Malaria.
