What is LEED?

The attestation of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design):

In 2000, USGBC(United States Green Building Council) started-up a new item to acknowledge architects' great contributions to environmental design, which is called LEED(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). LEED is the first green building evaluation system in the United States . It nearly includes every issue, from choosing location to saving water. This system has 4 grades, and the full mark is 69. A common office building may only get 4-5 marks. If a building wants to pass the attestation, it must get 26 marks; if a building wants to get the silver grade, it must get 33 marks; if a building wants to get the golden grade, it must get 39 marks; If a building wants to get the platinum grade, it must get 52 marks.
